Migrante Alberta — founded August 2013 in Edmonton — is a registered non-profit advocacy and self-help organization that organizes Filipino migrants and diaspora. It addresses "the immediate issues, rights and well-being facing migrants," provides referral assistance, campaigns on migrants' issues, and works closely with labour unions and community organizations. Affiliated with Migrante Canada, a national alliance of ~20 Filipino migrant organizations, and part of the Coalition for Migrant Workers Rights Canada.

The migrant-justice pole of the frontline: a body organizing the province's most legally precarious workers (temporary-foreign-worker program, closed permits) — the people furthest from a municipal ballot, organizing for dignity and status outside the electoral frame entirely. The state instrument aimed at them is enforcement and registration (Alberta compelling TFW employers to register provincially, 2025); the community instrument is self-organization and mutual defense.
