Roughly 45,000 people a month line up in this city, and the line keeps growing. An afternoon sorting and packing beats a hundred posts. Show up. They will put you to work.

Grab a bag and clear the alley, the bus stop, the park. Small, unglamorous, and by the end of the day the place your neighbours live in is better. No press release required.

Check on your houseless neighbours.

Walk your area. Bring water, socks, a warm meal, a hello. Ask what people need, and listen. The neighbours the city fences out are still your neighbours. Outreach is just showing up.

The whole ask

Make promises. Keep them. Stay local.

If the Alberta NDP wants to win, it makes real promises to working people, keeps them, and builds out from its base. Everything else is a distraction. Chasing the centre and posing with ambassadors is not a strategy. It is an exit.

Why it is splitting

The division is one man's ego.

This moment is divisive because Nenshi will not say he was wrong. He will not take the note, and he would rather own splitting the party than admit it. We cannot back a party that stands for nothing. Do that, and we just get the same outcomes again.
